Savannah Ghost Pirate

Website Redesign

Me and four other designers reimagined the Savannah Ghost Pirates’ official website to improve navigation, fan engagement, and the ticket-buying experience. The final product was presented to sports enthusiasts and Ghost Pirates fans, earning highly positive feedback.

Within three months, the project received a Gold Medal at the Indigo Design Awards for excellence in interactive digital design—showcasing our strength in brand identity, visual storytelling, and user experience.

To build a high-fidelity redesign, we started by analyzing and addressing the site’s existing structure. Our first step was refining navigation and content framework.

Using card sorting, we learned how fans naturally group the Savannah Ghost Pirates’ content, revealing intuitive navigation patterns. These insights shaped our sitemap, aligning the layout with fan expectations and improving findability.

Streamlining site structure and navigation.

Design

Starting with low-fidelity wireframes, we explored multiple layout concepts for the homepage, schedule, and ticketing pages. This allowed us to test structure and navigation before adding visuals.

We then moved to mid-fidelity designs, applying the Ghost Pirates’ bold colors, refined navigation, and interactive details.
Including nav-bar refinements, streamlined ticketing pages, and engaging player cards—bringing the brand to life in a cohesive digital experience.
